Prototype
Turning the MoldGuard AI concept into working hardware.
A functional sensor/control prototype is currently being assembled to validate sensing, local display, Wi‑Fi connectivity, cloud telemetry and the first Mold Risk Engine.
Prototype v0.1
The current development architecture uses an ESP32-S3 controller, a Sensirion SEN55 environmental sensor, an SCD41 CO₂ sensor and a 2.8-inch SPI display. Additional oxygen sensing is under evaluation.
The unit is being designed to operate from the 24 VAC control-power environment commonly available in HVAC systems through a dedicated AC-to-DC power stage.
Development objectives
- Acquire real sensor data
- Display live measurements locally
- Provision Wi‑Fi connectivity
- Send timestamped telemetry to the cloud
- Build historical trends and alerts
- Validate the Mold Risk Engine
Prototype specifications may change during engineering validation. This page documents active development, not a finished commercial product specification.
